Holly Lowen grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She obtained a BA in Art History from Duke University, a degree in Interior Architecture from The New School, and an MFA at the New York Academy of Art. Holly currently works in oil, pen, charcoal and pastel, exploring themes of evolutionary psychology, sport and domestication.
